Westside could also be interesting as I know they picked up a few more players and they always seem to pull some kid from out of the blue so watch out for them as well. I know we lose a bunch of talent, probably the most for the second year in a row(mainly to TA, some to United pdx), but we always reload and have “won” back to back years at this age group at the top level. It’s just how we roll....
Crossfire already has an excellent back line; so it will be interesting to see where the ET player fits in.

On a side note glad to see that you aren’t calling people donkeys anymore and you’ve graduated to only using part of the word. 😂
Will be interesting. A few questions as we wait for the next season to start:

        * What will United PDX look like? They could be good; they could be a trainwreck.
        * Will OR DA play games against WA DA (rumors say yes, but nothing is set in stone).
        * If so, where will TA be placed, and if they play in WA DA again (wanting tougher competition), will any other OR teams get to face them? Would be embarrassing if one of the local DAs were to knock them off.
        * How will the Island of Misfit Toys look without Rodolpho the Red-Card Roughneck?
        * What's going on with CFC? Rumor has it that the team blew up near the end of last season, which is a big reason they got drilled 8-0. 4H is probably the better team in Salem at this point.
        * What will happen to Eastside's players? We know of one going to Crossfire; will the rest stay with ET and play OYSA? Will ET be good enough for OYSA premier next season?

All three Vantucky teams picked up Eastside players and coaching staff since Eastside boneheaded move to drop the DA

Not sure what “all 3 Vantucky teams” means but the WaT 05 boys didn’t pick up any Eastside players...we lost 1 and added 1

Any time you add a talented and versatile player nothing but good things can happen, eastside player can play anywhere in the middle of the field which just makes their edges and forwards that much more dangerous. He was used in multiple spots last year and played with 04’s as well

A little birdie told me cuervos and TA had teams playing this weekend at the beach? Any idea how things went?

No. Traffic was so bad they missed the tourney.

Note that this tournament still uses 2017-18 age groups (05s are U13, not U14).

The "surf" division had three groups of 4 teams; a TA team ("Blast") won Group C handily. Doesn't appear to be any playoffs between the groups.

In the "sand" division, Cuervos made it to the final, losing to a team called "jinga ninjas", which appears to be a squad from ADF.

Actually “blast” lost in finals to some team named “oregon ballers” who won group A in the same fashion.

Blast was TA? Shame on them for playing in the silver division.

They did not play silver division, they just lost...

"Surf" is the gold division, "sand" is the silver division.

As an 06 FC parent, who has a son who played up at times this last year, and was on the field next to that final game I can attest it was intense. recognized some of the “baller” players as kids from the crossfire 05 team. heard through the spreading grapevine that the ballers team included a little brother who is 10 and he played as much as everyone else.....

Awesome- love to hear that a TA team was beat (regardless of setting)by another Oregon team, and if it’s true it was done by some crossfire players and their little brother even better...,
