The Revolution Academy needs to make some changes.

Things aren't going as well as they should be. We're not winning very winnable games. It's time to shake things up and it's imperative that we practice more. There are talented players who aren't being given a chance. Try being more creative. There's so much hidden potential that you're not tapping into.

Agreed. Coaches should start your kid and my kid.

I don't have a child in the program, but in another thread I read that the teams practice 2 or 3 times a week, not the minimum 4 recommended.

If this is true, then there will be little improvement happening. 2-3 hour and a half sessions a week isn't enough to retain existing skills, let alone gain more.

A few players given 1000 chances a season while the rest sit on the bench or act as support players for these few- most at the U14 age group when the U13's play up.

Way too young to triage soccer players. I think same thing on U13 team.

          Too many sad boys. :(

Those kids already checked out physically and mentally. It's unfortunate.

Kick it with the only foot he can. Anywhere but not in the net.

Have you seen the stats on college players from DAP and Clubs? DAP, especially in this bench-sitting position, is not worth it! Get your boys out now!

The lucky ones have daddy coaches but what are the others going to do?

Think of it this way: you saved a year's worth of club soccer fees and the players are still getting 3 DA practices per week. Come June (likely before) shop your kids to NPL teams and there will be no more sad pandas.

Parents and players have the power in this relationship, not the clubs. Plenty of clubs around if you are willing to shop and not dead set on DA and free.

The Revs are not a priority for Kraft so that permeates the entire organization. Revs DA has been pretty mediocre for some time now but without a coaching shake up nothing will change.

I am willing to be this thread was started by a troll. All Revs teams practice 3 times/ week. U18 team is in first place. U13 would be in first place. U14 would be toward the top. Where's the problem??

Except for when they don't (which is usually after an overnight road trip on the weekend or when there is a facility scheduling conflict).
