Hate speech! You should issue a trigger warning first before you say things like this. You are in the Oregon section.

ECNL and GDA are both simply another option. Options are good. Every year, girls from OYSA travel teams (which are expensive just like ecnl and gda) get recruited to play at D1 and on down colleges. The 3 paths are more similar than different. It’s not a matter of which path is better, it’s a matter of which path is best for your daughters and your family.

Somehow, I think this is an unhinged (and irrelevant) political rant, but I'm not sure what point you are trying to make.

Not unhinged and not political (although the same problem comes up in politics). Just highlighting my agreement in that statement (satirically). Seems like a big problem in our society that my opinion is truth and I should demonize anyone with a different opinion.

With free benefits to be had (title ix girls soccer aid) and a big chunk of it available to nearly every & any girl with interest (talent is really not so important) artisans like US Club Soccer have tried to capitalize on this, they must realize it's just plain impossible to monopolize, just too much aid out there. Now that their sham pitches have been exposed and nobody cares what league you play in DA, US Club, USYS or HS they must try and defend the practice of travel. Good Luck with that.

With free benefits to be had HAH and a big chunk of it roundly criticized to nearly every & any cool cat with interest (talent is really not so important) artisans have tried to capitalize on fear, they must realize it's just plain impossible to talk too much out there. Now that their window pitches have been exposed and nobody cares if you brush your teeth. Good Luck with that.

It's all a sea of greasy soup.

Selling travel without a destination is quite a challenge.

Interested who in Oregon would ever fall for this?

Educating and supporting them is the only cure.

National hotlines are up and running for the victims.

This misogynistic pig loves to post about title IX. The reality is every girl isn’t walking in to college with a scholarship. In FACT women’s sports are governed by the same rules and number of allowable scholarships as mens teams. It is clear this fat armchair football coach has zero collegiate experience outside watching TV in his filthy living room.

The previous post didn't state every girl gets a scholarship, but that any girl could get a scholarship. And while they are governed by the same rules and number of allowable, the demand for that same availability is less than on the men's side. Statistically speaking, the available scholarships vs the interested parties are far more favorable for women.

If the girl is half way decent at soccer and school, getting some scholarship dollars is pretty easy to do if the girl isn’t picky about which school. Many soccer girls are smart students and pick an academic D3 with merit money over D1 state schools and sports money. The super studs go to UCLA and get both great academics and great soccer at a state school. Every girl is different but most good soccer players come from wealthy families who can afford pay to play, so getting sport’s scholarship dollars isn’t as important as getting admittance to an elite college.

Actually the athletic aid available for collegiate Girls Soccer is much greater than aid for collegiate Boys Soccer, which is odd since Boys Soccer has a hundred thousand+ more participants in HS and far greater interest.

The reality is the number of college programs with athletic for girls aid dwarfs the poor boys. Yes all sports are governed by NAIA, JC, NCAA etc.. But the individual college can give more in scholarships per team and they have hundreds of more girls teams than boys that's in the Rules. Sorry you weren't aware of the actual facts, you useless tool.

Because men in these United States play and financially support football. Soccer is still viewed primarily as a girls sport in USA.

Title 9 has it correct; scholarships are equal between men and women. Your just looking at wrong football on men’s side.

I’m sure most players are smart enough to pick a college for academics and not because it is a D1 soccer school! Unless the girl is one of the rare few that is going pro or a girl whose career goal is to be a soccer coach, their careers will be built on their academics, not their soccer.

Commonsense.... this is due to football. It does not mean any girl who knows how to tie her shoes will walk into a full ride like misogynistic jack@sses would like you to believe.

Which is where ECNL gets it right over GDA.
