This is crazy...how many facilities are going to be built on LI, espeically Suffolk?
SUSA is suppsosedly building a mega complex in Islip (7 fields)
Paul Riley is supposedly building a huge complex in Kings Park
Valencia is going to build something in Nassau
Now Barcelona is going have 10 fields and indoor space as well. Anyone have any idea where in Suffolk this is supposedly happening? It would need to be in Western Suffolk to really attract Nassau players.

Very strange. Such a late announcement when many players have already committed for 1718 and why LI? Perhaps year 1 is just to work out some details and year 2 will be the major push for talent.

Put the Barcelona name out front and you could have a cow teaching the kids would pay.
Youth soccer has become big business in the US. There's no serious end product. The means and the end are one in the same. The actual products being sold are illusions and dreams.

Yeah kind of like Surf....lol. It's FC Barcelona. Their announcement is on their website.
It's like comparing Apples to dirt. They have the resources and clout to attract the best talent.
NYCFC and Red Bull's might be in trouble.

Right all the Red Bull's Academy players live in NJ. Bottom line if Barcelona truly come over with full intent, they will get everyone. This isn't Man City coming over and setting up NYCFC.
Barcelona and Madrid are the biggest clubs in the world.
