Why would it be any different in year 4 than it has been in years 1 thru 3? Still run by the same clowns...

The only difference is they will be playing some non rec-level teams.

Which ones? Look at the clubs in their league. 90% or more have never done anything above rec level in their history. But I guess that fits well with the Thornz history too.

What an awesome opportunity. One that will go a little lighter on the parent's pocketbook. Good luck young ladies!!!!

I feel bad for the kids doing the thorns. Locked in the GDA warehouse. Miss school events. Dances. Football games. Excess travel. No time for homework.
No one comes to your games. "Three people and a dog" per the thorns coach.

$2k a year all-in to play in the new top tier league in the country and practice at Providence Park? Done!

geez, just let 'em play. we've been round and round. Lets let their record speak for itself once they start playing the 26 game schedule. Maybe they'll schedule a friendly with a Club or ECNL team at some point and come out of the cocoon.

No one put a gun to their head to join. Last I checked this isn't a life sentence. If it doesn't work out they'll leave next year.

It's important to not worry about attendance at games and instead be concerned about focusing on soccer. If you go to the NWSL you will have games where barely anyone attends and that's ok.

Yes Oregon ODP Part II. You just joined the same folks you were complaining about 2 or 3 years ago. Have fun.

You need not be concerned for them.

                          Relax. Let it go.

They will see. Just let them see our GDA teams rise to the top and the ECNL will FOLD under our rule. Club teams also; we will never play a club team. ECNL sometimes plays club teams from older teams and loses. We will not put ourselves in the position to play down at that level. We are elite and connected directly to NWSL and US Soccer. We have set up SURF cup so we are playing ONLY real DA teams and NO wannabes allowed. God Bless the DA and our benefactors and beneficiaries. A League of Our Own.

Three people and a dog? How lonely.
