Timbers u18s just lost 6-0 to a non-MLS Academy. Not good.

BSC (they're no longer called "Bridlemile" as they are no longer a rec-only club, thus aren't limited to a single school area or neighborhood) did DA last year.

Now nothing. Used to be "Bridlemile Soccer Club", but not BSC stands for BSC.

Kind of like AT&T used to stand for "American Telephone and Telegraph", but now is just "AT&T".

So 05's and 04's will be on a combined team? 11v11?
What other clubs will BSC be playing? Who else got the u13/u14 expansion?

I heard the Washington Timbers also got the DA at 13 and 14.

So next year will be '06, '05 and '04's.

For those of you that posted above trying to figure out if ages are combined.

Your club should always be combining teams. Your teams at your club should be based on ability not by age. If you're at a club that doesn't do that then you should run because your club is failing you.

For me to hear on this site whether or not the age groups will be combined is dumb. Teams should be built by ability.

The DA at the Washington Timbers has two '06's and two '05's.

Our club has playups in its DA program and throughout our competitive program . . . just find it strange how preachy Washington Timbers get about it.

There are compelling reasons to have players playup; there are also times that the push for playup come from parents and sometimes they need to be told no.

Many leagues/competitions limit play-ups to one or two years.
