Many clubs also add players throughout the year (as well as maybe lose some). If these players are getting a reduced rate it's mostly likely because the fee is prorated by time on the team. I don't think that is at all unusual or uncalled for.

As great as a player may be, other people at the club object to paying fees to cover other players if that is what is happening. Soccer lessons are not like food, or shelter or healthcare. No kid is deprived if they cant be on a deluxe soccer team.

But you won't. No one leaves a good situation over this.

So by your rational thinking.....if your brat kid got a full ride scholarship to say Michigan,
you would not take the deal because you would let others pay for your kid and you would consider yourself to be a loser?...interesting.

I am fine to even try to help kids participate in youth sports but not the ridiculous nonsense of luxury girls high end soccer. pay for that yourself. my kid has lots of luxuries she does to get to participate in and I dont go getting money form other families so I can provide her with luxuries.

Losers and their scholarships
Maybe you should realize that the clubs offer the free rides because that is what the clubs want. That is what the club believes is best for them. It isn't your business who pays what, you agreed to pay what you pay and your interest in other's money makes you seem like a bitter loser. On some clubs they use the scholarships to lure superstars, on others it is a tax break and in some cases a loyal member of the club has had a financial setback and rather than kick them off the team they let them continue with a scholarship. Seems odd that you have spent this much time and money on teams and clubs without ever learning how either of them operate.

The problem with this is using the children and the "scholarships" as a way to undercut your competition. SUSA had one of their coaches contact several players from KK and offered them a free year. It was SUSA's intent to break up the 2007 team there. Don't see how parents are okay with less competition so SUSA can continue to get larger using crappy tactics like this.
No such thing as a free lunch folks.
