I could show players from BU, Colgate, Lehigh, and Brown in the MLS, but you have already made up your mind. Actually 95% of D1 teams get few MLS players.

Please illuminate, and I’ll show you 98%+ who didn’t go pro in the IV/PL in the last 40 years, let alone the last 10. I am not suggesting they are not great players, just that you don’t go to these schools to go pro.

So if you are recruited as an impact player at Dartmouth, let’s say 4 of those per season and then a handful of others to fill the roster, you have a 25% chance of going pro.

For schools like Harvard and BU, about 10% of the impact players, still not bad.

Certainly better odds than virtually no chance.

also keep in mind not everyone at these schools wants to go pro. salaries in soccer are not life changing (if you know what I mean).

Agreed, an Ivy graduate has a lot of good options. But for an Ivy Soccer impact player, a pro career might be one.

                    Sorry

Perhaps the best player on that page.

For the women's side 40-60% is much more the norm rather than the exception - more scholarships and far fewer international players
Note only 4 of 12 on the ACC Coaches’ watchlist are from North America...

Yes it definitely is changing quickly in in the women's side, but still isn't nearly as high as in the men's. More womens programs and scholarships will help mitigate some of the impact but change is happening

if the end of year coaches' polls mean anything (and it might not) this is not a close call. As of end of season last year, Ivy league had 6 of its ten teams in the top 100 of the rankings, with only Penn (104) and Harvard (162) below that. Patriot league had only 3 of its 10 teams in the top 100, with six of the 10 teams ranked at 155 or below. Outside of Colgate and Loyola of MD, Patriot league looks pretty thin.
