We just need to love the kids win or lose. Stop the bashing. To each their own. If they chose to be where they are, who cares about wins and loses.

That's true just let everyone do their own path and not be mean about it.

Even if your team loses you still can have a good game and that’s all that matters.

Maybe if the didn’t charge $225 per kid for a six hour tryout they’d get more kids to try out? Might help?

Doesn’t US Soccer specifically prohibit try out fees?

Nothing wrong with making money on try outs. Most clubs do it.

Most clubs charge $15-$25. Not $150.

Most traveling clubs/teams cost $5000 to $6000 per year, GDA cost $2000 per year.

Sure it does. If your DD doesn't play at all.

Thought Thornz Asylum was so much more than a "club". It's an "Asylum". With HUGE financial backing. Doesn't make sense why they charge ridiculous costs for tryouts. Sounds like a scam to me.

Still less expensive than the others that travel.

No way. US Soccer is a for profit corporation out to drive huge profits.

Not really. Value for dollar is VERY low in Thornz Asylum. Basically paying Premier fees for rec soccer.

That's the way all of Oregon is. ECNL included.
