But they often seem to think it’s someone else who needs to do some time on the bench to learn. It’s hard to imagine any of these three being content with a supporting role. And meanwhile Oregon has some returning forward firepower in Cook, Wormdahl, Hardy, Rask, and has Hasenour seeming to flourish in a more attacking role. Can’t make them all happy...
The only problem you see???? Who the F are you to speculate on this stuff. LOL. #jackass

Nothing wrong with being a walk on. It’s like being an intern. Everyone deserves a chance to earn a job.

Hopefully 2020 is better than last year. No much offense, only won 1 league game.

It's UO, you'd think they should be able to recruit some team speed, at a minimum.

She’s better than all the other existing and recruits. Her failing to get admitted to UW academically is a windfall for Oregon. It makes no difference if she’s a preferred walk on. I predict she’ll start and play all game. Surprised that OSU didn’t pick her up with their connections.

UW is not super easy to get into but if they signed a player to an NLI then shouldn't they have already vetted that?

UW is not even top 100 of the most difficult schools to get into academically.

It's been a couple years, but my experience with full ride scholarship offer, is that the NLI's are routed through admissions.

              This doesn't make any sense.

It doesn't make any sense because your relying on anonymous gossip. Kid had a right to change her mind with a coaching change and the uncertainty in the world.

Many people know. UW coach still wanted her of course but she didn’t qualify to play academically. Happens to athletes all the time. The good news is now she gets to play for the Ducks! Happy ending.

                          No it doesn’t.

They waited until now to figure it out?

Weird but UW has plenty of attacking talent.

Wow what does that say about Jesuit if her academics didn't get her qualified?

Jesuit isn't a very good academic school. Just expensive. Similar to buying a Porsche. The car itself isn't very good but it is expensive.

It says that Jesuit has high integrity and doesn’t just rubber stamp grades for their top athletes. UW also has much higher ranked attackers so she wouldn’t have played nearly as much as a Husky. The soccer and academic fit will be better at u of o. Maybe she even helps Oregon beat Wa so wouldn’t that be nice?
