LISC is exactly the club everyone said they were. Kickball and physical. I hope this isnt how the rest of DA teams will be

Ha, yes I bet they do. It is ok, all that matters is STA is fielding good teams that are capable of competing against other, similarly sized DA clubs. There will be ups and downs but overall things look good for now.

STA is the N.J. Stallions repackaged. Stallions were great last year. How many STA homegrown players are on these new DA teams?

        Hmmmm.

Based on one August scrimmage??? Thank you Tom or Sean for your unbiased view of the program. This post seems more like an attempt to steady some (rightfully) shaky nerves.

Yes like said based on the players and the little scrimmage time it was not a bad showing. Older groups will be suspect but the younger end of the spectrum, like 2006s is where things will look good.

No one in the program has shaky nerves. So far lots of excitement from kids and parents. Mostly outsiders have nothing but crap to say

Manage your expectations. It is a youth soccer league.

                    Welcome

STA..... on behalf of the other BDA teams, especially 2006, WELCOME!

We're excited to have the expansion, and looking forward to our matches vs STA.

Whether your players were home grown or came together from a far... they are all STA going forward.

You're going to enjoy the year, the competition, and the camaraderie on the sideline from both sides of the ball.

The DA is a family, and we welcome you to it.

....and that means what? Parents with kids in a youth soccer league should not be excited?

It means the high level leagues are watered down and not that special so don't expect high level soccer and you will not be disappointed.

LOL. OK. Can't people just enjoy what their kids are doing without so called know it alls having to comment. Its like you don't want anyone to be happy. If parents and kids are happy with what they are doing then thats all that matters

Why are you on a soccer chat forum if you don't want to hear comments? Ignorance is bliss. Just go have fun then and don't read the forums.

                                Great against weak comp.

Whenever they played high end teams in tournaments they lost and usually didn’t score

Regionals and nationals were against be and c teams
