When you go with number as high as 17 for your fake news you lose credibility with even the folks who really want it to be true. It forces us to ask to link your source.

Thorns really did'nt draw the best players away from ECNL. Adding the 05 pool of players had a bunch of parents wondering if that is good enough to push player development for the 04's. Those 5's might be good in Oregon but when you are comparing those 05's with what is across this country from a talent stand point they are far off the mark.

Good luck to the DA players and pool.

Same can be said for other programs. Of course, we could blame it on other states like California for more players in competitive soccer and state cup.

(Their President's Cup is the state cup)

Their system is in the gutter. Just look at their coaches resume? Compare them with Real Salt Lake Academy. Nuff said!

Study hard because between 8th grade and sophomore year you realize that for most kids school will be where success is determined and soccer is for health and fun. Pretty good lesson! By this time most parents know this but stay silent in support of that childhood dream. The kids figure it out a little later, but they will hopefully be stronger and wiser because of these life lessons through sports.

Yet you are replying to a Talking - Soccer thread at 11:30 PM.

Sounds like you have things in perspective.

11:30 is not that late. I meant that post as a positive light at the end of a tunnel. Not sure where your aggression is coming from. Have a good night.

You just sound pretty hypocritical to me.

Some play in college but not many at a top school. Even fewer Oregon will play on the national team. Good to keep it in perspective.

For some of us it's not about using our money to buy our children spots it's about teaching them to earn their way in life and having integrity in the choices they make. I know it's a foreign concept to many of you but its real...
