Your reasonable tone almost convinced me. So rankings count except when they don’t? Only a clean sheet would make Umass worthy?

    Tennessee
    Top 25

    Last year
    Top ten

    2017
    Top 20

    But yeah, meh

No Shaw. Not close to the same team. They got a history ranking to start the year and did not lose games. Same as Unc. Committee bases a lot of last year to start even tho personnel can change a lot. Look at Duke. They lost huge pieces and somehow were ranked highly.

How about UMass scored the same amount of goals as Tennessee’s other 6 opponents combined would that be impressive?

It’s boring to argue. Whatever. But is it, they don’t play quality opponents, or is it they don’t have Shaw etc?

Time will tell for both teams.

I’m not arguing. Different poster. Just stating a fact. Tennessee are not close to the same team without Shaw but the ranking to start the year does not reflect that. They get the benefit of last year. If they don’t lose games( that can be schedule related ) they will be ranked high. U mass may be great but the value of beating Tennessee is yet to be determined

TN last year is not TN this year. Bunny Shaw is a big reason they were so successful. You get that right?

But drop your confetti now because at the end of the Ivy season, you may not be celebrating.

What’s the deal with BU? What’s causing them to play so crappy? Haven’t seen the last two games.

You haven't missed much. They are a horror show. I have watched a few and the constant rotations of all of their players is very confusing even to the players it seems. I've heard it called chaotic coaching.

Btw - their current commentators and coverage suck. Horrible. They need to bring back Kat Donnelly. Not only is she a great commentator who actually discusses and knows the game, but breaks down the plays. The Patriot League should consider going ESPN or FOX.

Minimal overall talent, old style coach, and no scorers

Not only is TN missing their top scoring threat, Bunny Shaw, but their top GK, Yanez graduated and is playing for Wash Spirit. Let's wait and see how the rest of the year plays out for TN and Brown.

NEU is good; very fast. They beat Harvard 4-1 and lost to BC 1-0. Maybe you should not be the self proclaimed NE ranker. You seem to have distain for some of the NE teams.
