As a believer in karma, anyone who's dedicated his life to coaching, while happily married, father of 4, will win their battle with cancer treatment going away. Just one more opportunity for him to lead others by his example.

Nice 1-0 win over Delaware where the Minutemen out hustled, out worked and out played the Blue Hens. Solid defensively and creating more opportunities in front of the oppositions goal. No doubt the team has rallied around Coach Koch. They are young, but will do better than last year's squad.

Love the "SK" shirts the team is wearing.

Coach Koch lost his battle with cancer last night. A loss not only for the family but for the soccer community as a whole. A good man who rescued the Umass men's program from elimination and was able to take them further down the road against fully funded programs.Condolences to Suzanne and their children.

He was a good person and it's sad to see something like this happen to a hardworking man.
Prayers go out to his family.
