If you are speaking to the inpending club name changes do you really think anyone will care?

It would have been better if the the Timbers just ran a pro team and two DA boys teams at U-18 and U-16.

Let the youth soccer world take care of the rest.

You mean no more names like Lower Willamette Indepenent Soccer Club serving the soccer youth within a 4 mile radius of Clackamas Town Center?

What they mean is Timbers is going through two currently operating adidas clubs in the area for their youth program. WSM and Eastside. I have heard that as early as the Spring these clubs will be wearing the Timbers jersey. (ONLY RUMORS).
It probably will shake things up a bit, but unless they offer some unbiased evaluations....

Then in two weeks NIKE + ECNL + THUSC will be making a announcement!!

... and to the North (VUSA & WSA merger)

all three clubs will have the Timbers RTC's (Regional Training Centers) from which the Academy Teams will be picked. The girls elite program is still in the works but they will participate in the RTC's (Is this how ODP will change?)
