Is this a conflict of interest?

    https://www.usclubsoccer.org/news_article/show/1159056

Click on the form, all your information is gathered. The director is a major operator at a Florida club. It is rumored that the director has promised a player to return to her team for a spot on this program.

Hard to prove, as it is he said she said. Now this article is out today and it all makes sense.

Yes TT is the Director for the US Soccer ID2 development program. She’s also #2 at TBU in Florida. This is a National program and her soccer resume is huge. To say that TT Can use her position to help her club in Florida with gathering information on Neighboring clubs top talent is far fetched. Possible yes but I’m sure she is of good character and would not use her position to get leg up on the competition.

I don’t think TT would promise a 14 y/o anything to get her to play for her. I think it’s her results and soccer background and the exposure she can and her club can offer.

Honestly, she wouldn’t be doing her job if she wasn’t recruiting an elite player into the Elite League.

      It’s literally her job.

My daughter played for her when she was at Prime. Nothing but respect. She is a great coach and a great person, which is more than I can say about a lot of other coaches and directors.

I think she can be a good coach, but she was mostly lazy, detached, and absent at Prime.

It is her job, but is it ethical? Seems like TT and TBU have a on advantage that no other club in Florida has. Just like MC of Lutz Rangers using his position at FYSA to get the emailing list of local parent to send them invites to tryouts.

Literally any club can pay gotsoccer and get these lists you're referring too.

This is humorous in a warped kind of way. ALL of youth soccer is a conflict of interest! And yes, TT and TBU have an advantage. That’s the point.

Our daughter trained with her when she was home from college for the summer. Said she was an awesome trainer and very technical.

As a prime parent we sad to see her go. She was one of the best coaches at the club.

iD2 is back which will allow TT to really earn her keep at TBU now by bringing in the talent with hopes of an invite.

Every other club would love that same opportunity . Don’t hate the players just hate the game. Lol

It is every player for themselves.

if it is run by a single head ,director or club, you bet it is a conflict of interest.

To me it sounds like coordinated interest for TBU...no conflict at all.
