This has to be the weakest division in GA. Very few top 3 finishes in any bracket at the FLA showcase. Is the level of quality that diluted in our area (NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA)? Seems like GA is much better in the MidWest and West.

Well to quote some of the STA parents, "Its about having fun" But to answer your question GA is weak in the Tri State Area. All the best kids are in ECNL

Looking over the GAFLA21 schedules it doesn't look bad. Teams as low as Showcase 3 are still top 3 or 4 in their divisions and have good records.
NJ isn't over saturated, that would imply a level of talent and to many club choices. I think the issue is more lack of quality, especially at the younger ages. To many clubs selling people on what league they are in or how many went to D1 schools instead of focusing on development. It shows when your D1 commits are either local, connected to your coaches or schools no one ever heard of.

West coast has always been the nation's soccer stronghold. Was true before GDA and continues to be so despite the chaos with GDA?GAL and ECNL. A few other states are always solid as well, eg TX, CO, FL usually does well. The NE region is typically weak overall though obviously some clubs and teams do very well. Weather limitations? Maybe, but I think club and talent quality has more to do with it. CA just has a ton of players of lots of good clubs.

Looks like NEFC doing well down there. They really should be in ECNL

Anybody who argues the GA is weak in the tri-state area but won't admit it's exactly the same for the ECNL is not being honest. Look at the results and goal scoring differences. I know, your kid "left a GA team and is so happy to being playing in the ECNL and your happy to be out of that mess". You're so full of it. Unless they went to PDA Blue you're full of s&*t because every other NJ ECNL team is on par with every GA team in the state. How pathetic is your life that you come on an anonymous message forum posting things about a soccer league that your daughter supposedly left? Are you that nice of a person that you're warning people to stay away from the big bad GA or have you been spurned by either SJEB, STA or CSA and you're living vicariously through the mirage of a concerned ECNL parent. Either way, come up with a new way to utilize your time instead of attacking a league full of girls playing soccer.
