    Goalkeepers

Should the better goalkeeper play the first or second half of a game when there is a big difference in skill level.

I can see both ways. Second half there is a lot of pressure to save the game. But the first half can set the tone for the team. What age group, if you don’t mind?

Coach should rotate starts so each
        GK gets varied experiences

For all it’s worth “great” goalkeepers should play on 2 teams:
          - crappy team where they can really work on a lot of shots
          - good team where they can practice their foot game

Second half adjustments made re flow of game. Can be tougher. I would see teams pull kids in first half after 15 to play them entire second half to try tp break down opponent after tactical adjustments.

They should play the whole game. Let the scrub backup sit like they deserve.

I can see it both ways, especially as the 2nd half keeper would have to take a potential shootout in a tournament situation, but in most situations the better keeper is playing the 1st half of a game. I think the rotation idea is a decent one if the keepers are comparable, but as they get older, there should be a clear starter and a clear backup fighting for minutes. Nothing is worse that a defense that isn't in sync with their keeper, and switching them up all the time kills that connection.

This isn't good advice. All shots aren't good shots, especially when your porous defense is letting the other team bury the ball down your throat. Getting pummeled every time you go out there isn't helpful mentally or physically. It's one thing to advocate for building mental toughness, but it shouldn't be like a batting cage every game.

The more important thing is to find balance where you are getting work with shot stopping and footwork, but not getting blitzed or having to count clovers because the ball is never seen.

Not a MF Shore parent, but I had the chance to watch a MF Shore 09 game. That goalie on their team is amazing. This kid is the real deal. I wanted to go talk to the father and tell him how impressed I was with her, but couldn't find him. I played in hs, got a scholarship to a D1 school playing, and even played a year with Skyblue, and I have to tell you, this kid has it. I actually reached out to my old coach from Skyblue and told her to keep an eye on this kid. This kid is what every young girl should want to be like. Great job dad, your doing everything RIGHT!

Does not matter one bit. However, the way parents obsess over results, Im not surprised you ask. Extending it, why shouldn't every member of a team considered good enough to be on it, get equal minutes?

This is embarrassing and I feel bad for the little girl because you (obviously you are the creepy father) are doing her more harm than good. You open up the door for negative posts and mockery. You are truly disgusting.
