There is no way SB board is handing the keys to the DOC of the club they are basically taking over.

Makes no sense but if what board members are telling people it is true. If they are going to leak it all over then they should just make the announcement.

They are waiting for right before the season starts. They either don't realize or don't care that teams are already exploring options if they get screwed by the merger.

youre a f'ing idiot. Club is fine, club will be fine and the kids will have more opportunity to succeed at the level they want to play at. Work on your grammar instead of worrying about soccer clubs. Moron

You mean what level YOU want them to play at Mr. Board Member.

what are you talking about? this merger is going to thrive. LGN is probably the most successful town club on LI right now, and not even that big at all, and it has everything to do with the training staff. Now with those trainers, hopefully combining with current SB trainers, developing players from a young age, younger teams that form will be great. LGN and SB are right next to each other, so no issue with longer driving. Say hello to the new powerhouse in suffolk. BTW, why does everyone assume that teams that want to stay together won't be allowed to stay together? Definitley an assumption that you should find out the answer to. My guess is if you have an existing team and all your parents want to stay together, you probably will be allowed to. win win for everyone. give it a try and be open minded and stop listening to a couple anonymous posters who are probably just all LM and CJ Orlando pretending to be SB parents.
