Mass Youth Sports Guidelines - 3-1-2021

I haven't done a side by side to see if the state simply slapped a new date on the guidelines again but there are no changes with regard to the out-of-state travel restrictions.

    - Facility Operators still risk closure if they host teams from outside Massachusetts; and

    - Massachusetts teams leaving the state must comply with the Massachusetts Travel Order (https://www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-travel-order) upon returning.

Since not ONE person has been fined since August 1st I’ll be paying ZERO attention to this particular brand of Covid-theater.

Not really your call. Clubs will NOT ignore the guidelines. They can't. Unfortunately.

And for every ine parent willing to break the rules there's one that follows the rules religiously and another who doesn't like it but does the right thing. Telling families you don't care about rules is generally not a good idea.

I don’t believe for one second you are a club owner. All it will take is one Karen and poof the club gets shut down. Nor are all soccer parents willing to travel if it means their kids have to quarantine and be remote for school. Sorry, I don’t like the rules but you also have to be realistic.

2 weeks to stop the spread and help hospitals has turned into this. If hospitals aren’t over burdened, open up, especially now with Vaxes out and so many already had it. Come on man!

But if your brand is suffering and losing money, does it matter anymore. Comply and fail for sure or don't comply and take your chances. Sorry, they played all last summer with no masks and there were few if any transmissions via sports .... Two big soccer studies showed zero risk (San Diego and Wisconsin). Either we follow the science or we don't .... Very simple. The answer is we never did and it's apparent to everyone that wants to see it and we simply don't believe all of the different rhetoric that all of these various health departments or leaders espouse. It's been a year .... This thing will continue to wind down through next spring until it is gone entirely by Summer of 2022. That was about how long Spanish flu took without a vaccine as well. Despite what Biden and Baker tell you, they can not beat mother nature and never could. So, it's time to get busy living or get busy dying. -Red

This is why our teams can’t compete in TX and FL
Better weather and less restrictions down there

Off to Texas with you then.
They’ll be looking for new elected officials shortly and you should fit right in, as you seem to know more than everyone else.
