Most larger clubs have tryouts before and say they are for a different league (like US club). They pick the teams and then have another "for show only" tryout after May 10th to comply with the FYSA rules but the teams are really selected way before May 10th.

Big loophole for clubs that are me members of multiple associations

Even if you move to a different club I believe you are still part of the old club until sometime in June or July. (unless you ask them to release you)

Grass is always greener, huh. I'm sure your current club is not great. But reality is none of them are very good.

As long as we’re paying might as well chase the greener grass. Club and coach you’re paying sure aren’t looking out for your kid. All about paying their bills plain and simple

Best post of the year. You are correct, none of them (in Florida) are very good.

That is fine but you can not play any games with the new team until the fall unless the old team releases you.

The new team is unable to register any player in the system until the June/July release date without old club permission.

The exception could be if one club is FYSA and the other US Club. Then it might work.
