    Attack on trainers and managers

Seem like a constant on here. Zero appreciation for how hard the trainers and managers work and how much they care about each child. Parents have reached a new low. Expecting that everything be handed to them and their child on a platter, jumping from club to club, backstabbing other loyal families and again no appreciation for the managers who handle 3-4 teams at a time and also serve as DoC in some cases. Sorry if this sounds like venting but to expect to be playing in the dead of winter and in the middle of a pandemic like nothing ever happened is just plain unrealistic. Please focus on the positives, be thankful for what you have and make the best of it.

I completely agree. This forum has been overrun with unhelpful negativity. We all are aware of the issues with youth soccer, but I'm not seeing anything constructive to address those issues. But welcome to the internet I suppose, trolls everywhere.

Great post. A lot of clueless parents out there. No idea how hard it is to be a coach these days.

Half of the posts on this board are coaches attacking other coaches

Funny you said that. Most of the posts are coming from parents? Are you sure?

I’m convinced it’s one coach who wrote this then followed up himself with agreement post. Probably a DOC who was demoted.

#zeroappreciation they all think somehow trainers can work miracles and if one tourney is missed due to weather it’s the end of civilization. Got to put things in perspective sometimes but it’s hard for these folks.

I am a parent of 3 players who play at different clubs (2 girls & 1 boy) and I wholeheartedly agree with the post. Once we vetted each club/league and decided what was best for each of my kids (all with different abilities & aspirations) my wife and I decided to stay in our “own lane”. This was there sport and while we enjoy watching them play games and talking to the other parents we do not live vicariously through there soccer. That’s there thing to do. That’s how it works for us.

The best coaches and trainers spend their days working, coaching and training and probably have no idea this message board exists.

The coaches posting on this board constantly are the bottom of the barrel type that wants to tear down other coaches rather than putting in the work.

I am sure the parents posting here would be more positive and constructive if there were not coaches posing as parents and literally making comments about other coaches' wives and children. These types have no business being around children and deserve exactly what they get.

What I find the most troubling is there are parents on a certain team that post non stop on this board. Their names are known by many, I know them and so do many others (you guys talk to much) and while I don’t want to call them out I also want to say that what you are doing is sad. Trying to pin everything on a coach, sad. Trying to stir up trouble, sad. There was a time when this was a big joke to you and everyone was laughing... now things aren’t so funny, are they?

Your an anonymous poster making assumptions that coaches post here. I think the vast majority are parents who are just biased towards negativity. There is no reason for any coach to post here. There is nothing to gain. Any poster who says some anonymous post is from a coach is just spreading the big lie. Sound familiar?

Funny coming from a coach. You make the same grammatical error in every single one of your posts.

Generally, most coaches and trainers are good. Of course you have a few that on each side of the spectrum: either excellent or really bad. However, what coaches, trainers, and clubs need to understand is that parents are paying for their service. Some are paying a great deal. Therefore, the expectations will be higher depending on the money spent. Some coaches/trainers act as if they're doing a favor to the parents. Would you pay for your child to go to a private school to get a bad or below average education? Wouldn't you complain if the teacher is bad?

Ryan Tetro is the most awesome coach, hands down. Anyone who says different is a scumbag jerkoff and your mother is probably a whore with one tooth. WE ARE THE SHORE!
