Guy from NJ and his friend from the U.K. are well represented in the book.

Guess who they work for now

        ^- Take your own advice

Anyway .... GPS / Legacy Sports is another example of how "private equity" distorts so many businesses. Too much money, growth targets too high, short term focus.

That makes sense. Federal criminal investigation, two guilty pleas, three co-conspirators charged and a lot more on their way. But it was all private equity’s fault.

Ride that wave as long as you can.

Who else likely to be charged outside of the 3 co-conspirators from the JC case?

study the youth sports industry in Massachusetts and determine whether stronger oversight and accountability is warranted.

Basically, follow the surf team, PT and a few of them Juventus staff.

                Job done

Sorry it went over your head. Try this: Pressure to grow faster than was realistically possible led to them doing the criming as a way to keep the scheme going.

The alternative is saying no to the additional money being offered and missing the targets. Sure, no one said they had to go illegal. Obviously they had both the wrong management team. But also the wrong expectations. It was stupid to push that much money at them in the first place.

That would be great. With the competition removed, that would allow Bolts and SSS to further jack up their fees and provide even less value.

Stop talking... your ignorance is on full display.

                          Agreed.

Clubs need to stop creating targets that prioritize profits over product

Because his name has nothing to do with this situation. But bring him in anyhow?

You are aware that you live in the US right? You understand that we live in a capitalist society that is completely based on greed and selfishness right?
