Going on almost 2 weeks of no score updates. Remind me again does this league do promotion/relegation? If not I will ask our club not to do this again.

FSPL kind of has promotion but they lose so many teams each year they are begging for anyone to join. They can't even fill out divisions anymore.
Think about the reality of the situation. If your team gets relegated, how many players are going to stay on the team? Many will leave for other clubs. When clubs have 25 different leagues to choose from they will simply join a different league if threatened with relegation. It's a great idea but in pay to play soccer it will never really work.

Has anyone else heard anything about teams in FCL not being able to participate in state cup? Something about it not being a FYSA league or something....
we are just hearing of this now and cant figure out if this is true or if the coach/club is just BSing us for some reason.

If your team also did an FYSA league they can do state cup. If they only did FCL, then you have Florida Cup as an option.

This league will not survive as long as they continue to allow clubs enter whatever players they wish across all divisions. For example Sunrise West Pines Prime Unit FC or whatever they are called this year will take their ecnl players and put them into games in the lower brackets to win. This is highly unethical and will destroy clubs who enter their players in the division for which they are qualified. Imagine being an up and coming team or club playing in FCL 1 or 2. You show up to your game and end up playing top ecnl players and get crushed. This does nothing to develop the lower teams and they will move on to leagues who actually care about development and growth.
