I'd recommend the one you wife went to, but she wound up sucking him off....

if your youth player needs a sports psych, perhaps you are simply putting too much emphasis on sports.

I'm a psychiatrist and I was working with your wife. She had Ryan Tetro issues. Told her to stop sticking her tongue up his ass, a kids playtime wasn't that important. She said it was getting to be difficult because when you weren't bragging about the team on Instagram, you had your tongue up there....

I would love for Talking-Soccer to show some guts and have your IP address turned over to the authorities for abuse/slander/harassment

Lol, if this wasn't an anonymous message board, practically every thread would stop. It's amazing though, when people were dragging that guy DM across TS practically calling him a pedophile, where were you complaining then? Because it's this clown RT your all upset?

Sometimes all it takes is changing coaches or teams. Some coaches can suck the confidence out of kids, so can being on the wrong team. Try that before seeking out a therapist.

Sad thing is, it's the parents that cause most of the issues with the kids. Telling a 9 year old she needs to train 7 days a week to maintain her spot on a team is crazy. A 9 year old is still learning to love the game. It's the ******* parents putting undue pressure on a kid to be on a winning team. Let the kids play soccer for God's sake.

Yes sometimes parents are the problem and parentsshoulddo a deep dive into the issues. sometimes its like the other person said, just not the right place. I watched a coach crush several kids on one team, including my own. He plays in college now lol but two kids quit altogether. We're talking twelve year olds.

My kid went from being a really aggressive player to questioning himself, despite being very clearly one of the most talented kids on the team. We let it go on for way too long, with his confidence being undermined by hearing other parents, seeing the coach pick favorites, etc. We left the club and went to a new one and his game is finally coming back, involvement is higher and willingness to take risks and be creative is coming back.

Sometimes a change of scenery really is what is needed. When a kid is back burnered, often bc of subjective stuff or plitics, it can really impact their confidence and you really need to look at the club, the coach and the other families and see whether it might be causing issues. Sometimes it is 100% internal but i'd say its more often the environment that does this.

MF Shore is the best! Screw all your ****ty township/academy's. If your kid isn't here at MF Shore, she sucks and shouldn't be playing soccer. Get her a pots and pan set and call it a day. WE ARE THE SHORE!
