I'd guess 15 to 20 million for the four properties with the central islip facility making up half of that price. My take is not way he has more than few million of his own money, at most, invested. He is not making 5-10 times more than his investment. Not close. This business is based on repeat business and you can never predict 3 years out. Covid is just one example. There is so much competition with much cheaper prices, that it’s a risk. Would you give that much money? I wouldn’t.
Also, what if he does say I am out? Things could fall apart real quick and would lead to a lot of cut throat happenings with staff and customers leading to mass exodus. It wouldn’t take much to create a negative culture when you don’t have a good leader in a privately owned business.Comment
