Assuming the lack of field inventory will put a stop to a spring league. Has anyone heard anything?

Not enough field
I heard there will not be enough fields to run a spring league. So many schools not open means limited access.

Spring league will be happening
I believe they will finally leave off the teams that don’t have fields and let the better structured and better organized clubs actually play/

There is a huge lack of fields right now, but they still have had a Highschool league take place this winter. So I got to think they will be able to put together some sort of league in spring. No way they want to miss out on the money they can get by having one.

If Eastside don’t make their Complex available and other fields don’t reopen there won’t be a Spring Season. Way fewer teams at the HS level and they were playing games that 8am to 10PM Sat & Sun at Eastside. Younger kids cannot go that late.

What you pay for
Some people pay for a DOC they never see and makes 6 figures, other pay for club that is a community based non profit that is there for the kids.

OPFC younger boys kind of got jobbed compared to other teams. Played a total of 4-5 scrimmages all year. Partially OYSA and partially because the coach is more concerned with growing his other business than getting things sorted for them.
