    Some advice

I know I am opening myself up to criticism here but I do have club question. I am more familiar with girls club soccer and not do familiar with boys. I have a nephew 2009 you. Only plays town. Not very good and will never be a player described on this page. He lives loves the game. I know late to start club at his age. Is there a club in the Walpole Norwood area that would offer a lower level team ? Starter team. Just wants to get better in an environment where he won't be scrutinized for not wanting to go up the food chain. Small club, regional team??? Again, a novice and really not that athletic. Just wants to play on a appropriate team..thx

Bolts have about 100 terrible teams at every age level, You just need to pay them 4000+ and you can waste lots of time and money

Every club has a premier (second) level set of teams. Not sure why previous posters mock some clubs for that when they ALL have them. We all understand that their child is an Uber level athlete that will change the world’s definition of what it means to be a soccer player, but even superstar JR’s club has a second team.

My advice would be to touch base with parents in your town that have their kids in clubs, even if those clubs are at a higher level than what your kid should be at.

If it weren’t for those 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams club dues for the top teams would be 10x as much. There are far more average players in club soccer than elite players. Don’t let the jerks on here bother you.

Agree, don't let the jerks get to you. We have a friend who recently moved her lower level U15 D to a low level club team for the simple fact that the girl loves to play and wants to play more days per week and more months per year than town travel offers. She doesn't care that she's not a star or on a C team. She's having a blast and getting exercise.

Some of you are seriously just jerks. For what? To make your own kids feel superior? Gross.

I would go with Liverpool Academy. I think they are a wonderful program for kids starting out. They have various levels and the boys coaches especially are really great.
