Florida Premier FC is by far the best development club in Tampa Bay. FP has been developing players for couple of years and it’s showing. Their players love the club so much and it shows. After destroying TBU today it’s very clear who develops all the players. TBU is trying to recruit but players are saying no thank you.

I watched 2 games and saw 3 on 1 team and 5 in the other. They played the most minutes in the team. I would love the chance to watch the full MLS team vs the ecnl to see how much better they may be. Those MLS guest players were clearly the stars of their teams today. If their entire teams are as good as them, then I'd think the MLS teams would beat most FP ecnl teams other than maybe 06, 07 and 08. It should happen directors! Let's get it on the calendar. It will make both clubs better.

Not sure i agree. The results could have changed. But FP definitely can hang with and possibly beat the MLS elite teams.

Yes, but that's not what happened. They took top starters and labeled them discovery players and will bump them back up to full time MLS once they hit their 6 game max.
One of my good friend's kid was one of them so I in fact know thats what happened. I've watched those MLS teams play many times with them. But if it helps the ego to think that, fine. Whatever.
Originally posted by Unregistered View PostFP parents couldn’t be more delusional. The 07 and 08 teams are legit good and would compete or beat most MLS teams except Inter. However, the fact that they truly think they played a “blended” TBU team is coco puffs. Moving 3-4 part time players down to ECNL is not going to make the TBU B teams that much better. Full time rostered MLS players cannot play down

FP 06 ECNLR team destroys Stewart Campbell 3-0. Again, embarrassing. 2008 CROD looses 3-1 against FP ECNLR - Again embarrassing. What a day for FPFC.

The TBU "MLS" players were supposed to only play a half due to their Miami games on Sunday. 4 MLS players played the full 80 at U15 with one of them getting injured in the 2nd half.
