I love these people knocking ECNL clubs in many states but yet your club can’t get in! PDA has 3! Too funny. Keep believing! Zero chance any club ever gets in the ECNL in PA, NY, or NJ.

Only a fool would think colleges will continue to give out big athletic money when the teams aren’t even playing and the revenue from the money making sports isn’t coming in.

Some schools already cut teams, mostly the less popular ones like swimming. Only two men's soccer teams have been cut, no women's programs. Female teams should be fine in terms of teams but not necessarily scholarships or number of players they take. Every cut to a school's men's scholarships means one less they have to pay for women's. Schools not in the big TV football conferences are looking very hard at their commitments to football teams. If you're not getting big TV for that it's very hard to justify the money and # of scholarships. Expect many more cuts to be announced this academic year. Many haven't announced their spring terms yet - if they stay all online then there's more millions lost per school for room and board fees. Schools will also be giving out a lot less merit $ and financial assistance.
Not sure how much an impact the 5th year players will be since it means another year of school/grad school. It may not be feasible if they're not getting big$ or even desired.Comment

As long as Title 9 is in effect women's teams and scholarship #s won't be effected much. Schools may look at less attractive sports on the men's side but no school will cut football/basketball anything. Only a fool would think athletic scholarships won’t be impacted.
