    Nefc ecnl boys 7 hours of driving for a loss

    Sounds like money well spent yah, ECNL.

    Both age groups 08 and 07 drive to NY for 1 game(their first game) and both lost!

    RUMOR has it one of the teams they were going to play had Covid.

                    Was the game competitive? That's all that matters. You would feel better driving 7 hours to win 7-0? IF I coached your kid, I would have to spend 80% of my time trying to get them to play the game, rather than the score.

                      This league is a farce - i went through it on the girls side, initially excited but then realized it is to give coaches mini vacations and competition no better than at home. Parents never learn

                        No boy in Mass should be driving/flying for ECNL games. If you aren't good enough to make an MLS Next/DA roster, NEP or EDP is just fine.

                          You sir are an idiot. Did you go through it on the girls side? Where is your D now? Is she in the college recruiting pipeline? Is she playing in college? We'd all love to know how bad the girls ECNL National league is now that it is the best league in the country for girls who want to play D1 college...

                            I don't have a horse in the race but there are some horrid ECNL teams, even on the girls side. That reflects on the league as a whole.

                              You “don’t have a horse in the race”, meaning, you don’t have a kid playing in girls ECNL, yet you watch games and have determined which teams are “horrid”? That seems like an unusual use of your time.
