Well, you call it a loophole but doing it this way should should end up with, a half or a third as many people there at one time. Especially if they limit or eliminate spectators. That's the whole point. Hardly a loophole. Seems pretty clever to me.

Technically still a loophole because the language of the edicts from the governor specifically includes provisions for “tournaments”. To be clear I’m not agreeing with the stupidity the bureaucrats came up with but don’t be surprised if the local Board of Health shows up and shuts things down. One thing they really hate is people coming up with logical and effective alternatives to their lazy ineffective ideas

All they are doing that is different from the leagues (who are playing) is organizing matches between teams that otherwise don't get to play each other. Keep it to 1 spectator max per player. All the rule modifications. If team or their spectators don't mask, your team forfeits and goes home, no messing around.
If they do it right, the fields will be no more crowded than the town fields are today. And probably less risk than the town fields are today.
