PDA - Somerset Grounds - Mask Nazis

    PDA - Somerset Grounds - Mask Nazis

    Was at the PDA fields at "Upper Pond Road" in Somerset, NJ this past weekend to watch some matches.

    They are Insane up there - Blindly enforcing "you have to wear a mask the whole time, outside, even if you are 100 yards away from the field and near nobody, etc, etc - people following you around, it's insane.

    Nobody in the organization thinking independently or logically. The girls are out there playing 9 v 9 or 11 v 11 and near each other playing, lol but their parents have to wear a mask while outside, alone and social distanced from them and each other - idiocy

    Some men did push back (myself included - as i still have male genitalia) and refuse but overall most people just complied to stop being annoyed and not have to do violence in front of their children to covid cucks.

    Do NOT go there if you can avoid it - get a covid cuck from your own group of parents to stay there and video the match for you (chip in money or whatever) and either watch live or just watch the match recorded. Avoid this place.

        I was there too and didn't put on the "Submission Shield", lol - nobody can explain why the rules are there or if they even agree with them - "just following orders"...

          When you play for Match Fit - you can’t quit the team. They hold on to the money and the player card.

              That's not the point. If you hates the club so much, just walk away. Find another club.

              Oh, I know why. Because her/his children want to play in ECNL and there's no better place than PDA to do that! LOOOOOOOSER!

              You know, if you do want to show that you have the guts, WALK AWAY! QUIT THE TEAM.

              I am sure plenty of other players are happily waiting to take the spot.

                  QUIT THE TEAM. SHOW YOUR GUTS AND DISOBDENIECE.

                  If your sons or daughters are so great and so talented, I am sure they can find some other places and still commit to D1 colleges.

                  OTHERWISE, JUST SHUT UP.

                    You may not have any issues with covid, your kids might not but people you may come in contact with do. I don't fear getting it or if my wife or kids get it as statistically we will be fine but my parents, aunts and uncles even a few cousins most definitely have cause for concern. We don't wear it for our health we do it for our loved ones and some courtesy and general respect for others. Granted, you are PDA North parents, so obviously courtesy and respect go out the window.

                      The level of courtesy and respect they exhibit is inversely proportional to the amount of PDA sweatshirts and hats the parents buy.

                            Why is wearing a mask such a big deal? You can't wear a mask but it's ok that your child has to get vaccination shots? You're ok with getting a flu shot, or ingesting whatever medication is needed to help you feel better when you're sick but you draw the line at wearing a mask?

                              Match fit lost all their games by a wide margin, and parents were forced to submit. It was an utter humiliation. It’s nothing about soccer or health, TS is an anger outlet.
