    Spectators at games

Which leagues or schools have made decisions on spectators at games? Haven’t heard too much griping about it on here.

The SWC made a blanket decision - no spectators. Anyone else?

I think towns also have their own rules. For example, Seymour and Coginchaug are only allowing one adult per kid. I’m guessing they are worried about the amount of people there (gathering amount limit).

Its up to each conference but individual schools can have a say.

keep the crazy coginchaug parent home please. Also the same obnoxious dbag that shows up at his daughter's club games. Total azzhat

            No spectators at SCC games

SCC is following CIAC recommendation of no spectators at games.

Some have not decided. Ours is videotaping each game supposedly.

Totally unacceptable. Parents need to stand up to these politically motivated measures and have a spine. How is having 2 parents for each varsity player spread out around a 2,000ft perimeter not socially distancing? Many of these seniors will never play another game after this fall and their parents are supposed to just sit home and obey King Ned and Deidre?

                Wake up you spineless sheep!

Well King Nedly plans on going to phase III on 10/8. If Stafford Speedway can now have 5k people in the stands then there's no reason any school in the state can't have 200 +/-.

                    Yes
I am prepared to be arrested for trespassing if necessary.
BTW - I purchased a body camera to record in case I get arrested so I can share it to get as much attention as possible.

no way the fat walruses, I mean cops in our town can catch me. Most can't eek out a 16 minute mile. I will be a spectator at the game, catch me if you can

Districts and conferences are making the decisions not the state. Take it up at that level. DPH and CAIC recommended no spectators but left it up to locals to decide. Really it should be up to individual schools since some can easily accommodate some spectators and some can't.
With football out of the picture I think those who are restricting will ease up - assuming a few games go off without issues and case numbers don't jump. Everyone is a little edgy right now 🤪

Just now on GMA is video of a mom in OH being removed by police at a football game because she refused to wear a mask, which is clearly stated school and state policy. Not arrested but physically removed because she wouldn't comply. Kids in the stands. Great example she's setting 👍

they cuffed her and tased her, she definitely got arrested
she will get off but it will take time,$$$$ and effort- excessive force

the only example that was set that matters is every kid who saw that is now scared of cops
not exactly what they need right now
both parties could have handled this better

School issued a statement that she was removed not arrested. She could have complied or left without fuss. She chose to refuse to follow the rules and to not leave. Kids should see actions have consequences
