          Hearing HS won’t happen

Hearing most schools will not meet minimum requirements to play.

Chatham HS is going virtual for at least 2 weeks with all extra curriculars also canceled for the 2 weeks ....due to multiple covid positive students

Sorry my friend - this is now settled and HS soccer begins soon
full practice today despite the best attempts by the teacher's union to shut down

Everyone terrified of school buildings but we have full contact sports right after virtual “school”.

                      LMFAO!!!!!

                        Ummm, don't you mean .....

Everyone terrified of full contact sports, outside on huge fields, after school, but we have small, indoor classrooms packed for 6 to 7 hours a day with 10-15 people right before? If the kids can go to school in person then there is no way to conclude that football or soccer is higher risk outside ... None. I'll wait for the reputable, independent scientific study that has been corroborated elsewhere to support your decision.

Agreed! Hypocrisy is alive and kicking. Not ok to go in person to school, but it fine to play full contact sports on school grounds, and transport kids to games across towns. Makes a lot of sense.

I personally feel all kids should be in person at school and that High school sports should happen. HOWEVER I think it’s ludicrous to have kids virtual learning and at the same time allow high school sports. If the narrative is we have to “slow the spread” how does full contact sports and playing games in different towns slow the spread? Ridiculous.

Open everything up and end the ridiculous picking and choosing, let people decide for themselves what they are comfortable doing. End the lunacy now.

You had me until you said open everything up. Science dictates you should close everything down. People opinions mean very little, its science that counts.

Science doesn't seem to matter to the administration.
