GAL schedule is on their website. Northeast schedule for the fall is basically Seacoast, Oakwood, NEFC and SSS playing each other twice. League starts September 5th. So basically 6 easy wins for all NEFC teams this fall. Good luck to all teams! The more soccer in Massachusetts the better.

What a joke of a league; some of those clubs are just terrible. CT board said OW can barely field teams and that NYSC lost a ton of players to ECNL. No way the CA showcase happens in November with Covid still very much present across the country.

How are teams going to play in the fall with HS playing now. Will there even be games at u15 and up?

NYSC- TBD but isn’t it surprising how easily these players took over ECNL spots? How does NYSC affect you?
Doubtful November happens but personally I’m not in the habit of sitting on my hands and waiting. Better to plan and shift accordingly
Hope everyone enjoys their seasons no matter the league

I thought MIAA rules did not allow players to play club during high school. Also HS will not allow this because our coach got pissed that my daughter did skills training on Sunday with her club team for some extra touches. Also the over use of these players at an age where you need rest and recovery will be playing 4 games a week and practicing way more than they should.

Somewhat of an experiment to see if players want a 7-month or a 10-month commitment. Results are mixed so far. Even if more say 10-month this year, that doesn't mean it will carry to next year. I know of some players who's HS season has been cancelled or so restricted they are planning to play, but next year are planning to revert back to HS.
Worst case, teams will train with those who don't want to play HS and follow a late fall/spring model for all their games.

How easy is it for NEFC teams to walk into the GAL/DPL playoffs? Something went terribly wrong if NEFC ever loses or ties for that matter against these clubs. Very easy for them to just walk right into the GAL championships.
