Obviously this is only to play. But with the beautiful fields great coaching and surprisingly good talent and the younger ages, I think this is positive for Florida soccer.

Matter of time before they al get suspended for poaching. Suffice evidence of parental tampering and club pulling.

it’s Barca. Of course they are immigrant coaches. European immigrants. The level at 2008 for the first year is nice. Just watch how the practices are run. LIGIT

Barca Academy Pro Miami
So far, I’m very impressed by the organization, communication, professionalism, and coaching. They seem committed to establishing a top-level academy. Thankful my son has the opportunity to play for them. Hope the season doesn’t gets scrapped due to Covid-19.

Re: League
They were supposed to play in the EDP soccer league that was going to start down here. Several other prominent local teams were registered as well. This league is established up north. Not sure if Covid has changed these plans or not.
They are emphasizing that they are operated directly by Barca Spain and seem to have financial commitment to make it work in South Florida. Practices just started up, but so far I’m impressed.
The talent level seems to be good. Can’t wait to see them on the field after they get coached up.

I think Barca will struggle and have the same issues that La Liga, IdeaSports is having in Central Florida and Miami.
It sounds that they are being accussed of the same issues such as poaching and charging too much money.
It will take you time to play in quality leagues. If your son is an u13, u14 choose another team because your boy will only be a body, not a prospect.
The true teams will be their u9, u10 cause it will give them time to build and be accepted.
