    Future of College Sports

The NCAA Board of Directors meets tonight at 7pm....there's a good chance they may cancel championship tourneys for olympic sports.

Here's some compelling articles on future of college sports and NCAA whose landscape will be forever changed. Thanks, Covid.

So what was outcome Henny Penny? College sports will happen in fall and NCAA will have championship. P5's are making sure a championship will happen despite what NCAA rules.

Some kids are affected by lack of sports funds. GT did not get some basketball funds (did get league tv $$ but missed out on March madness) and will miss out on tv $$ with fall football cancelled (GT in Patriot League for football).

BOG tabled all once again, putting into hands of conferences....clearly lots of payoffs going on here. Everyone knows there's no way to control this thing within the chaos of college sports, particularly football, but they can't afford to lose all that revenue. Wonder what the bribes were worth? If anyone thinks that's not going on behind the scenes, you're naive.

D1's are cancelling too. But NCAA championships for fall is up to the division. In other words...there will be fall NCAA championships.

I hope some of these schools that were ready to go and were pulled under by league commissioner decisions shake their leagues and move to other league that value sports and education. And the funds associated therewith.

DIII cancelled fall championships today. This also means no chance to have them in the spring - which doesn’t stop you from playing, just no championship to attend.

DII and DI will follow is my guess. No one can meet the guidelines released. The only difference I would bet on is DI will figure out a way to do the championships in the spring. Way more resources and staff and way more money on the line.

Everyone will end up cancelling in the next few weeks, and the D1s who pulled plug early will end up looking like the smart ones. Louisville shut down today, and the same is going to happen at all the campuses....you can't expect college kids to not get together and party, that's totally unrealistic, especially when they've been starved for social interaction for 5 mos. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's all a bunch of BS bc this age group will be fine even catching it, but in order to meet the NCAA guidelines, and the litmus test of public perception which is now mentally controlled by the MSM and the propaganda machine of fear and doom, it just can't happen.

a LOT of money went under the table and into pockets of NCAA BOG the last couple weeks from the P5 interested parties.
