Matchfit guesting policy - official (please read)

    All -

I wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone that we have a strict “no guesting” policy within the club. If you want to play for another club or even within a group of players from our club, that is not sanctioned by us, please let me know and we will release you immediately.

We have plenty of opportunities within the club. If you want more, let me know and we can add to our offerings.

    Thank you

This is bullsh1t. People pay to play and they should be able to spend their money anyway they see fit. I'm sure you can provide supplemental soccer for a modest fee. This is how greedy clubs try to squeeze every possible dollar out of families. The mentality is every dollar they spend somewhere else they could be spending it here. Shame on you.

It’s complete greed. They don’t want anyone training for playing with another team, players will like the training and other teams better. Rule doesn’t apply to everyone. There is a bunch of girls that train outside the club and even guest play on teams and at indoor tournaments. Rule doesn’t apply for everyone, just a scare tactic. Most of the girls still train with old coach Meredith

It’s really about guesting. The elite clubs 100% understand the top talented girls are always training outside the club. They allow it all the time.

However, when you put on another clubs jersey and that club is using non-members as their own for club benefit it’s not OK. It’s also about being careful and what’s good for that player. Anyone that really cares about these girls will have them play in equal or close to competition. In no way what NJ fire just did with those girls is OK. It didn’t help the girls whatsoever and was only for the benefit of selling NJ Fire for more market share. The fact is the girls got used.

NJ Fire should keep to pick ups and off season indoor against other select teams when using other clubs talent. This EDP D level tourney was bad judgement and all about trying to expand the club.

We had two girls from MatchFit played for us from time to time. Never had a problem and their coaches know.

Seems like from just another MFA hater.

well there are lots of Matchfit haters

If Bucci knows and allows it then that is really messed up. Only because I know he has always not allowed his players to play elsewhere and these supposed 2 players are getting preferential treatment

If your a better player and starter they allow it. Turn a blind eye
Bunch of ECNL players still train elsewhere and play other clubs
This only happens on girls side

Perhaps Jordan is not a boys coach.

JR and DB dominating over very young girls. It’s very strange.

MF players play for other clubs plenty they know the training is better. The club only allows the better talent to do it and they make an example of the players they typically don’t care about losing.

That sounds the same for every club. Our DOC (RB partnered) made a big deal with similar announcement but he let some top players train and play for other clubs.

Get a life clown... All the top clubs feel this way, as a matter of fact the biggest baddest club on the girls side has the same policy and some coaches over there are such control freaks they want full approval of what your 11 year old daughter eats for breakfast . You aren’t allowed to train out of “club” and forget about playing a non sanctioned 3v3 or 5v5 off season unless Coach Control freak approves.

My D trained at Red Bulls RDS and played on the RDS Showcase teams with a MatchFit player a few years ago. The MF dad made it a strong point asking other RDS players and parents to not post pictures or videos of the Showcase team on social media that contained his D in the picture/video in fear that her MF coach would see it and she would be in trouble. Crazy.
