    MLS is Back Tournament

Anyone watching this thing? Not much better than HS soccer. But it's entertaining! Also, whoever decided it was a good idea to host a soccer tournament in Florida in summer was brilliant. Probably the same guy who decided to host the next World Cup in Qatar.

It’s fine to watch. Where else would you like to have it? They needed fields, hotels and a place that would be set up to put games on tv.
Would it have been better playing games in Lancaster not like it’s been that much cooler up here.

They needed a state who was willing to host. Most governors would not allow it.

Its **** period. All games should be televised ... but no they couldn’t get that right.

Same with the NWSL broadcasts. Terrible. There are 1000s of out of work TV and film people and that's the best they can do?

All the sport leagues were trying to find ways to bubble their leagues. FL could do it with their massive hotel capacity and large facilities. They also were looking at Vegas for awhile (also an oven but it's a dry heat 😄). When plans were put in place FL didn't have raging case numbers, now they do

Well, Revs are out. Couldn’t score. Same old story. Plus Arena got a red card.

Revs suck. Not one kid on any of those academy teams will ever go anywhere.

let me take a wild guess. Your kid "turned down" the REVS/. And he is off to either the IVY League to play or to EPL where he signed for millions.

Nope. He decided to become a landscaper.

No one cares about the MLS. It is a bunch of European players past their prime plus college graduates which couldn’t crack the second division of the Premier League
                        .

Lots of low level international players from our Southern neighbors.

Yes MLS is filled with players who weren't quite good enough for international teams, but many times they're better than US trained ones - despite 12 years of BDA. Same with college players. International academy rejects > BDA.

Oh, good move. He will be the boss of the guys playing now when they finish since he has seniority. He might even get benefits and work in the winters rather than get pink slipped.
