Not sure how it’s “irresponsible “ for NEFC to plan the tournament. If MA guidelines change and they can’t have the tournament, then it gets canceled. If they cancel and refuse to credit back clubs for the fee, that’s another story.

How difficult would it be to say only 2 fans per player per team will be allowed & give parents passes/lanyads to be worn & visible while on tournament grounds. Anyone without a lanyard will be asked to leave the property. So maybe they have to pay for a little security. Charge $5 a lanyard & that pays off security. I don't think it's that difficult or would be that difficult.

There was a boys lacrosse tournament scheduled to take place this weekend at the fields in Lancaster. The tournament is still going on but was moved to fields in NH. Just because the clubs are MA based and the tournaments usually take place in MA doesn’t mean that they HAVE to
