Several had already dropped out so doing a season was going to be impossible anyway. Big conferences mean big football which means big TV$. They won't cancel unless they absolutely are forced to.

This conference will lose a huge chunk of enrollment. Pay 75 k to go to bates and have zeeo college experience? Laughable. Not enough PPP available.

I mean hamden hall, pomfret and hopkins took 5 million olus from PPP... essential?

cancelling fall sports won't hurt enrollment, having only online classes will. Smaller more rural/isolated schools have a better shot at controlling their environment than a larger school in an urban area with faculty and students taking public transportation.

Big East is playing, but has broken into two Regional divisions for the fall with no crossover.

They could have had a season without bowdoin. One less trip to maine actually would have been better.

Bowdoin had to cancel. The liberal pussy administration had already limited on campus eduction to freshman, transfer students nd those that HS to take in person classes, ie classes with labs. Said another way, anyone who hadn’t already committed years and money to the school already and were less likely to defer or reject the admission.

ah....don't look now but a lot of schools are doing that, including the Ivies. Some are pushing back on letting students take time off and deferrals also. No tuition discount for online either. A lot of schools aren't going to survive.

The hallowed halls of education are now going to learn a valuable lesson about consumerism .... Something the liberal think tanks have traditionally ignored or known nothing about. Welcome to the real world now academia.

Ah...because St. John’s and UConn play the beautiful game. Please. Kids are a little bigger and a little faster. They still play horrible soccer and have losing programs.

The education compared to an Amherst or williams isn’t worth half, but you pay half to live in the middle of nowhere for a degree that opens less doors than a nice rack on a fat girl

Yeah...I shelled out 3k a year for 6 years for a total of 18k so by kid could get a 20k scholarship and play 10 minutes a game for Marist. Typical d1 snob. Doesn’t matter what college, however offers a few bucks

Your math makes no sense, just saying.
