It's official - https://www.newsweek.com/ivy-league-...s-2020-1516404
"Winter" sports won't be able to start officially until after the holiday break.
If the pro leagues are struggling to keep covid out with their isolation plans, extensive test etc + vast $ to spend, how can colleges keep it out?

Hahaha...so fastforward several years, employers will need back ups when their ivy employees decide to take off a session or two during cold and flu season. #learned helplessness through school adm

Face it...ivy ed is losing it's shine. I have seen tougher administrators in elementary schools.

It would be for a 1yr graduate degree at a school that gives scholarships (at least that's the idea that some of the Ivy players are talking about). I think it's highly unlikely to work out that way for very many of them, since there will be an enormous glut of players with eligibility left and very few spots and $'s. Maybe a stud here or there might make something work out, but it will be a rarity in my opinion.

Um lemme see, hang out in paradise another year getting to play the game I love on mommy and daddy's payroll, OR get a job, and do hard adulting things....that's a no brainer for most.
