The COVID is getting out of control in Florida, are parents going to bring there kids to practice and games knowing how dangerous it could be for them? What’s going to happen in the fall when kids start developing cold and flu like symptoms??? Teams will be limited on players when 1 player displays signs and symptoms which will cause parents to freak out and withhold there player from games. I just foresee a major problem that will force governing bodies to shut down leagues, clubs and games. I’m not wishing for it but this current situation is not fixable.

It is all the anti mask, anti socual distancing MAGA hat wearers and ignorant 20 somethings keeping us from being like every other developed country and having this manageable. Maybe now they start being better citizens and help get us back to life faster.

Everything these days seems to be a political divide. However, this virus is not stopping. Scientist can’t figure it out and the cases are growing. Politics aside, this is real. When one player gets it or one parent gets it, shutting the team down can’t be far behind. I don’t see any other way. Depends what your version of out of control means. Many feel the spread of the virus among the young having mostly minor symptoms is a good thing as long as hospitalizations and deaths remain stable trend. I believe the current death totals trend is like 10% of the peak from earlier this year. Of course the media will hype the numbers arguing for more shutdown and control of our lives. The day after the election, whoever wins, the media will suddenly lose interest and focus on the economy and getting back to normal spread or no spread. I love that if you ignore it, it isn't a problem. The problem isn't the virus, it is the testing! I've told my daughter, do not ever take a pregnancy test until you are ready to have a baby. I'm confident in that strategy too.
