Life is strange, as I remember when GS points were very relevant to my daughters teams. I would look to see how many points would be awarded for certain tournaments, and would talk about it with the other parents, life seemed so much simpler back then, now its a disaster, glad we are done...Comment

Its hard to take anything away from gs points. My daughter's team was usually ranked somewhere in the top 5 or so but consistently we'd see teams ranked ahead that they beat almost everytime they played. Since teams choose different tournaments it is impossible to really compare and i never understood what they were for beside marketing. Someone said tournamnets use them to figure out flights, which makes sense but even that sounds kind of difficult to do.Comment
