    June 22 Return

If this is the new date why are clubs training and practicing already and how is that allowed? I guess the whole guideline thing is just a guideline not actually followed or enforced.

This same sentiment has been written in so many threads. If some clubs or trainers are doing small sessions then let them. If you don’t want your kid to go then don’t. Why is this so difficult for people to understand? I am fine keeping my sons home for another few weeks. But I’m not judging the people who send their kids.

Well said! People need to do what they feel comfortable doing - it’s not one size fits all - everyone’s story is different. You do you and I will do me!

Pretty easy to see after this weekends mess to see that guidelines of staying home are not being enforced. Time to open the country. When business owners get arrested and cited for opening their business but looters and thieves are allowed to wreak havoc and not be arrested, there is something seriously wrong.

This has nothing to do with soccer and you are only provoking more hate and debates on here. There is enough of that just fighting about soccer. Stick to that.

I agree but you know how it goes the law will be enforced on typically law abiding citizens....that’s what this country has become. It’s a real shame....

You will be arrested and fined if you open up your small business or try and enter one . Nothing will happen to you if you loot one or burn it down .

Until a kid gets seriously hurt and then the sh*t hits the fan. NJYS has made it clear they are not covering liability.

And here comes the first trumper of the day. You guys are simply sick. Thanks to your thinking, our country is divided and sadder than ever.

Is this what you call "Make America Great Again?"

This is the country's worst shape in history.

Yes. And people also have their own insurance. You can post this all day on every thread. It doesn’t change the fact that you can mind your business and keep your kid home. Just like I let my two kids home.

The trainer has to do what they got to do to survive if that includes taking calculated chance of lawsuit than so what it’s they problem not yours. Just like business that got looted with no insurance it’s they problem they took risk.

Our club is strictly following guidelines so not an issue thankfully.

NJYS insurance is there to cover what your insurance does not. Unless you have amazing health insurance, most people are not covered 100%. You start adding hospital stay, MRI, specialists, etc, it doesn't take much to get into six figure medical bills. This is careless on the clubs and trainers, when the bills start piling up, parents are going to sue. You can deny it all you want but its fact. There is no spring season, waiting 3 more weeks is not going to interfere with your child development.

I agree. And my kid is staying home. But unless you’re running a club, you’re not going to stop anyone. If it bothers you so much, report them.
