    FP Tryouts

We attended the 2008 boys tryouts this morning and it was impressive I must say. They are organized better than Disney World. Everything went so smooth and the safety Protocols taken made my wife feel very comfortable. There was 7 fields so I’ll say around 130 to 140 kids attended. Our son had a blast. We are a former TBU DA family.

Were you told you had 48hrs to pay the deposit for the Regional team?

No we are actually trying out for the ECNL fees. It’s crazy their fees are like 30% less than TBU and we love the coach and great facilities.

Did your car get broken into and purse stolen?

There was security all over the place. The security was not fat rednecks but, guys and girls who were super steamy. They were at minimum solid 7's. I felt safer than a fister in quarantine at tryouts.

So how was the turnout? Did all the other clubs lose their best players to FL Premier?

So I had two kids tryout at fl premier from Liverpool. There is no way they are going to have as many teams as they have listed on their website. And the level of play was average. Had some good players that are at the club, but I didn’t notice any outside talent at either age group. The boys were also struggling big time with the heat, so I don’t know why the coaches had them play for over an hour. Not a safe decision imo.

Ok snowflake. Your son is never going to play soccer in the hot sun in Florida.

Did they offer you the jalapeño poppers? With the raspberry sauce? I hear it is to die for! West Pasco is a joke!

How many teams are they planning to have? I thought there are 2-3 teams in Odessa, 2 teams in collier and 1 in tarpon. I think there were enough kids for that. I saw quite a few kids from tarpon and from essa try out. Yes, the heat was brutal for both the parents and the kids. I think there's another date Tuesday evening. That should be better.

We were there as well and it was a great experience aside from the heat. FP took over both Tarpon Liverpool and ESSA. There were 2 -08 boys teams from Tarpon there, my sons team being one of them. His team is planning to stay together next season. They are solid and ranked 28th in the state. Not all were in Liverpool gear so may have been hard to distinguish.

Im sure those clubs have plenty of good players to pull from. Your 2nd and 3rd teams will be just as strong as your first team....But wasnt one of your selling tactics about not placing a financial burden last month for your parents. Dont take their money FL Prem and let them tryout at other clubs and see if they will stay. If you are so confident about your value proposition then they wont leave.

Good luck at your last tryouts today. I'm sure your kids future at the club is riding on todays stellar performance. Remember you have 48hrs to pay Elon or no soccer for you.
