Looks like soccer is ready to start on Monday as long as the local club has enough insurance.

It’s not typical liberal nonsense, it’s just reality, state has to give the ok first.

Our leaders are missing the point, youth sports are essential activities and should take priority over hair salons, bakeries etc. human happiness depends on it and it is shaping our youths for the better. The academies deserve a return to normal business activities ASAP! Lots of good folks working in this industry.

I hear you. But it’s still too early. Let’s wait and see. Hopefully soon though.

It's that attitude that is keeping everything shut down. Don't you get that there isn't going to be a "return to normal business activities ASAP", there is no more "normal". Now I agree whole heartedly that society has to resume and can't (and shouldn't) stay in this crappy limbo, indefinitely. But if jackasses refuse to act responsibly and don't want to take necessary precautions, we go through all this bullish** again in another few months.

The people in the driver's seats of all these industries need to buckle up, do their jobs and figure it the f()ck out. Figure out a way to resume activity, get kids back in school, back on the field, people back to work, that won't result in catastrophic numbers of fatalities or overwhelm the medical system. Seriously, it can't be that hard...

Agree we’ll said. Still need a couple months at least for soccer. Just need to be sure it’s safe.

If we didn't have a child running the country, we would have been further along by now.

Can you imagine if this child was also running the USSDA? It would surely go under!

Please stfu. A couple more months. Kids are barely hanging on you moron. Nobody gives a sh*t about this virus anymore. Media created hysteria. Fauci said 3 months ago 150m Americans would get this and millions would die. I’m so sick of hearing about it. What a joke. Sure let’s do remote learning again this fall. What a disgrace this country has become.

Can you grow a pair and be an adult? This is difficult. Stop being a whiny child and step up and help you family get through this.

Honestly ashamed you are a citizen. Almost 1.5 million confirmed cases and about 90k dead just in the US, but that's somehow acceptable since none of those people are directly related to you. You don't live in the real world.

Let me guess you want for America to continue to be shut down right? These academies need to survive my friend and getting back to playing is the only way forward. EDP is asking everyone to reach out to lobby Pelosi and McConnell for a youth soccer bailout. We have to get this done folks!
