Shame we are already going down this path, hopefully we don’t see Fall seasons cancelled across the board.

D2 schools are state run schools not private. That's why.

And the beginning of the end of soccer scholarships. The universities are in a world of hurt due to the economic losses incurred from Coronavirus. Look for slashing of athletic programs and less athletic scholarships- no reason to incur athletic costs if seasons won’t be played!

And the loss of athletic scholarships means the beginning of the end for the high priced youth soccer leagues. When the carrot of an athletic scholarship is no longer there - the national leagues that offer “exposure” lose their allure.

Pretty sure all D2 schools aren’t public. There are many private D2 colleges

Why does this mean no high school fall sports?

Let’s see. Arizona and Florida are both open and pro teams can start up this weekend. Guess what they both have Republicans as Gov. Here is comes. California has a Democrat as Gov and guess what they are closed forever. Schools will close as they won’t go to crappy state schools online. Cheaper to go o line with a community college. I hope they don’t bail out these states that are looking to crash the economy until Nov after the election.

Sure it is. D2's don't generate the sports income as B1G school's. More of a hassle really.

Hell no. The PA clown kept state owned liquor stores shut. Do you know the income he lost that went directly to the state?
NJ is leading the nation in cases of covid, etc. They are reopening. PA Gov is a sheep named Wolf.

There is no womens soccer college team on the planet that makes a nickel of profit ... not one! For that matter, the same is probably true for men's college soccer.

Agreed - which is why when push comes to shove if the economic crisis continues to deepen across all colleges and universities you may find college sports especially ones that don’t make money on the chopping block. I sincerely hope not but it is a definite possibility.
