Wondering if all club soccer is jersey is the same... what team have you seen with the most aggressive coach? Coach that never stops screaming during the game? Micro managing every aspect of the team’s play?or the reverse... the calmest coach?

There has to be a balance. No one wants a joy stick coach who dictates every player on the pitch so they don’t know how to play with freedom and make their own decisions. Kids need to figure it the fug out at some point. Parents looove to see theirs little kids win but what happens is that usually turns to loses when they cant interpret a bigger field with more players.
A coach/trainer who holds kids accountable, practices at pace, explains and teach and asks open ended questions to get the girls motivated and thinking on their own and provides positive reinforcement even when it may look like a crappy situation from the eye of a parent is what you want.Comment

Coaches are more sensitive than my wife. I guess I feel bad though. In the pay to play world they are served sh*t burgers left and right and then have to hear the chef tell them how good the meal is and they should be begging for seconds.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
